Just for fun cards

These four cards were made using:

K & Co double sided paper
embroidery floss
misc cardstock scraps
tacky glue

I had a lot of fun making these.  I decided to take pictures of them in a frame just so they would have a different look.  I think they would look nice grouped together.  I only had one frame or I would have tried it.  Thanks for looking.  :D

Blueberry Sausage Waffles

I love breakfast for dinner.  Tonight we had waffles and they were awesome.  I have found that when you make something like waffles for dinner they have to be a bit heartier so they stick with you.  I think these fit the bill perfectly.  Try them and let me know what you think.

Blueberry Sausage Waffles

3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup buckwheat flour
4 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp baking powder
8 Tbsp powdered milk
4 Tbsp buttermilk powder
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp nutmeg
2 cups fresh blueberries
8 oz. cooked and crumbled sausage
2 eggs
4 cups water
1 cup oil
2 tsp vanilla

Combine all ingredients and cook in hot waffle iron.  This recipe makes about 12 waffles.  You can just top them with a bit of butter since the blueberries pop and almost make their own syrup.  Make sure you spray your waffle iron with non stick spray since the blueberries can stick.

Coupon Organizer

Cut 2 pieces of chipboard (or cereal box) to 8 x 3 1/2.

Cut 2 pieces of cardstock to 12 x 3

 Accordian fold both pieces

Cut 2 pieces of cardstock to cover the chipboard and cut 2 pieces cardstock at 8 x 2 1/2 to make the bottom and the top.  Score the bottom and top pieces 1/4 inch in on the long sides.  Use adhesive to connect all pieces.
Cut white cardstock at 8 x 3 1/2 (cut as many pieces as you desire pockets)

Use adhesive to connect the white cardstock to your accordian folds.  Press the adhesive down well.

This is what the inside looks like

Connect the accordian folds to the front and back cover with really tacky tape.

Make sure you firmly press down all of the adhesive.

Add some type of fastener to hold your organizer closed.

 The finished product
A completely customizable coupon organizer.  Add tabs, embellisment or whatever you like to make the organizer completly unique!  Have fun creating this and then have fun saving money!
